Transposition

Transposition of the chords are very important for chord sheets. It means to change the key of the chord progressions. You may want to transpose a chordsheet for different reasons:

• Making the song easier to sing for a vocalist
• Making the song easier to play with an instrument

Chordbaby has a very advanced transposition system. Most music applications have a single transpose feature whereas Chordbaby has both Song Transpose and Instrument Transpose. We will explain both of them in following pages.
